The Cell Pastor Program

a non-degree program- level 3

The Purpose- to train pastors and church leaders to plant cell churches in cross-cultural communities, and to transition from traditional to cell churches in cross-cultural communities using Houston, or any other world class city, as a cross-cultural setting.

The Academic Load- it is structured over a foundation curriculum composed of 54 academic credits. The on-site 29 credits can be taken in a 10-week period if the student chooses to do THE GLOCAL EXPERIENCE 1, or in an extended period of time, if he chooses to do THE GLOCAL EXPERIENCE 2. The on-site courses can be taken in any of the Touch Glocal Regional Training Centers (Houston, New Orleans, Virginia Beach). The other 25 credits will be taken through the internet. The Requirements- cluster leaders and cell pastors will be accepted after submitting the application form and the required documentation for the application process.

The Program Description: the Cell Pastor Program was designed to prepare pastors, missionaries, mission agencies or other organizations’ leaders who want to be trained to plant cell churches or to transition from a congregational style to a cell model church will benefit from this Program. They will be required to take courses from the 100 series and from the 200 series in a Cell Pastor level, plus all the courses from the 300 series. The applicants can apply to waive up to 7credits (108, 109, 110, 111, 112, 201, 214) if they have been cluster leaders or have been pastoring a cell based church at least for 6 months.
